Instructions & Orders

We're told to follow instructions and orders passed down. We had been taught during our training to "Comply 1st, Complain Later". But when someone gave the wrong instruction and you followed it, you're caught in the web for Judgement Day. So where's the logic? Guess the risk is "Comply 1st, Kena Complained Later".

There's this lady from the top management who interviewed me when we got complained by our own co-workers. This was what transpired between me and her....

Lady : Why did you say yes to the request?
Me : Because I take it as an instruction.
Lady : Don't you feel there's something not right with the instructions given?
Me : Ya... but... (before I can say further)
Lady : This only shows that you are incapable of your knowledge at work.
Me : ..... (dun bother to explain further cos she just got herself enrolled in "My Hated List")

Few days later, my male colleague told me that she asked him "What type of person I am at work" and I do not know what he told her. So the despicable creature is trying to get insider's information about me~

Are we supposed to questioned every instructions given from now on? How many times did we feel things should not be done in their way but they insisted us to follow it? What's the point of asking when eventually we still have to do it in their way?

Learning to cover your ass is an art... will I be able to master it?
