Juz heard from Kama that he got himself an O2 Atom. Welcome to the O2 Gang, bro~
I got my 1st PDA phone "O2 Atom Pure" on 10th June 2006, juz 3 days before my last exam paper. Cant stand the temptation at that time cos my Nokia 6670 kept restaring on its own, and I really couldn't bring myself to study anymore. My mind was only "Atom vs Dopod"... lucky I managed to pass my last paper after that.
So far this is my 8th handphone, and the most lovable one. It's really good lor... acts as an organiser as well as an entertainer with the games that I installed. Dun care if you guys want to know the history of my previous handphones or not... I'll juz post them here *hehe*:
- Nokia 6110 - got it in 1998 on my Wednesday walk-out during training at Toa Payoh central. Was interested in the SMS function so decided to get one with my own salary.
- Nokia 8210 - dunno when and why I changed to this phone. I guess that's why it was "accidentally abandoned" by me inside one of the toilet cubicle at Jubilee. The worst thing is that I only realised the loss about 2hrs later when I went home and back to Jubilee again to catch a midnight movie.
- Nokia 8250 - got this the next day after I lost my 8210 cos I practically cant live without a handphone for a day. Damn~ what a loser...
- Nokia 6510 - the "business-look" phone. I remembered it was quite good, other than that dunno what else to describe.
- Sony Ericsson T610 - my 1st coloured phone and 1st try on other non-Nokia phones. Shir got this model 1st and my hand got itchy again... love the clarity of the pictures taken and MP3 playable function but can only set your sms tone from the given 6 choices (so boring). Its pathetic death was caused by me when I went to the toilet during my night shift. It got drowned~ in the squat-type toilet bowl. My colleagues all said it was done on purpose so that I can get a new model... but I swore it was purely accidental. It was beyond repair~
- Nokia 6230 - the phone that I'd been wanting to get cos it uses external memory card. But I got rid of it after 3 months of usage since it cant set ringtone from the MP3 in the memory card. Tried testing using my friend's card but also a disappointment.
- Nokia 6670 - the 1st Symbian phone for me! Got it on 31st Dec 2006, a day before Joanna's wedding, and I used it to capture her sweet moments with Kelvin. This was a new era of handphone OS and I spent most of my time installing great apps and games into my 6670. This was the 1st phone that kept me company for a year and a half, and I still love it.
Am I a frequent handphone-changer? Nah... I'm not lor... I'm just following thru the technological advancement in the Handphone Industry. But I do know 2 persons who changed their phones like a "pro". Guess who??
