The program for today was scenario-based training for the 1st half. It was fun and at the same time "heart-pumping" with the deafening realistic shots. Each of us had to form up in groups of 3, and mine was the 1st to start. Normally, our natural reaction was to give chase when we spotted anyone fleeing upon our approach.
And so it happened... I was the 2nd person in the 5m dash and out of sudden, the 1st runner was "shot" and I dunno if the soles of my boots were too smooth (ahem... I'm not trying to find an excuse here), or I got shocked from the sound, that I slipped and fell on both my knees, right in front of a pillar. There were about 10 over pairs of eyes (observers and trainers) watching the "show", and my 1st thought was "Shit... so malu!!".
So I faster regained my posture and a few trainers asked me if I'm ok. After that they told me that I'm considered "injured from the shot" and asked me to sit near the pillar (hmm... but I dun remember I'm being shot at leh... well, we're back to the "Comply 1st, Complain Later" concept again~). Anyway, now I'm having some "blue-blacks" on both my kneecaps and it does hurt a little when I walked (but of cos it's still manageable lah).
After the training, I was told by some of them that I looked as if I had dived for cover towards the pillar when the shot was heard earlier, and they thought "wow, what a realistic reaction". Yeah right... taking cover at the pillar... it was already considered lucky that I didn't get my head smashed directly at the pillar (phew~ the face already not nice liao, I can't afford it to accomodate further damages).
As an ending note, always expect the unexpected, and always cover your backside... cos you wouldn't want to end up being held hostage like our Mister K, with a surprise attack from the back by the "nobody-knows-he's-the-roleplayer" guy.
